Terms of Service

Widequest ("Company"/"we"/"us") runs Discovery Routes, digital guides, and the website at Widequest, plus any related services (the "Services"). Read these terms carefully. Using the Services means you accept them. Don't use the Services if you don't agree. We can change these terms anytime, and if you keep using the Services after we do, that counts as acceptance. New features added later follow these same terms unless we say otherwise. Check back here once in a while to see what's changed.

ACCOUNT & CONDUCT RULES

The Services depend on community trust and people exploring responsibly, so follow the rules and stay safe. Here's what you need to know about accounts, accessing routes, and what you can't do. User Accounts. You get one account per platform or device. We suggest keeping just one across everything. If you run multiple accounts on different devices, they can't interact with each other in any way. Accounts that interact with each other will get banned, reset, or penalized. Route Access & Digital Content. Route guides, waypoints, elevation data, and route intelligence from Widequest can't be sold, traded, or turned into real money. Trying to do that breaks these terms and gets you permanently banned plus possible legal trouble. All route purchases are final. No refunds. The same goes for waypoint data. We control what happens to route content and data—we can change it, remove it, or modify it however we want. We're not liable for any of that. You're responsible for everything charged to your account, whether you did it or someone else with access did. If your account gets terminated or suspended for any reason, you lose all route access. General Conduct & Prohibited Acts. Some things are just against the rules. You can't: Use the Services if you're under thirteen. Pick an account name that disrespects other users. Run bots, auto-clickers, hacks, or exploits in the Services or do anything else we've banned. Accuse other users of cheating in the forums, on their profile walls, in status messages, or chat. If you actually think someone's cheating and have real evidence, contact us directly through our form instead. Upload, post, email, send, or share anything that's illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, invasive of privacy, hateful, or racially objectionable. This includes stuff that encourages crime, creates legal liability, breaks any law, or is just offensive. Also don't share material that violates anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights. And don't share anything you have no right to share. Post false information or anything misleading or deceptive, like pretending to be another user or staff, or material that could hurt minors. Mess with the Services, their security features, connected servers or networks. Don't ignore policies, procedures, or regulations for connected networks. Don't scan, test, probe, or try to break any system's security or authentication. Break any local, state, national, or international law, whether on purpose or by accident. Resell the Services, access to them, or their content. Do anything else these Terms ban. Action by Company. Breaking these rules can get your post or thread deleted from chat, forums, or your profile. Your account can be limited, blocked, suspended, or terminated temporarily or permanently depending on how bad the violation is. We can also use other punishments we think fit. Availability. We can change, pause, or shut down the Services whenever and for any reason without warning. The Services might go down for maintenance or equipment problems. We can add or update route information and materials without notice. We can change and update routes whenever we think we need to.
